Setting the Stage for HP ENTERPRISE SERVICES

They Wanted
To impress new clients and visitors to the Dallas Enterprise Services complex through a new sensational media presentation experience.

We Produced
Multiple videos – and an original music score – for a three-stage approach leading visitors through the world of HP Enterprise Services.

How Ideaman Did It
This is HP Enterprise Services, formerly EDS. They’re huge, as in global providers of technology solutions for communications, military, medical, financial services, you name it, business sectors. They have a reputation to uphold – and a position to maintain as IT leaders. Beyond a video revamp, this project called for a multi-staged “experience” showcasing HP’s tactical command of technology solutions.

For Stage One, Ideaman produced a series of short video case stories highlighting HP Enterprise Services solutions to client problems. The videos play in HP’s in-house coffee bar where visitors wait.

Stage Two starts with the dramatic opening of a large security door in the wall where guests enter the heart of HP Enterprise Services – the Mission Control Room. For this stage, Ideaman produced a three-screen presentation illustrating “The Sun Never Sets on HP” global capabilities theme. The presentation mixes images of the sun zooming across the sky in locations across the world with film of famous landmarks and stills of HP headquarters buildings in every continent. Extensive sky replacement edited with the traveling sun concept gave the stills a feeling of movement. For the audio track, library music just wouldn’t cut it. So, Ideaman composed a grand, cinematic score to complement the scope and size of the visuals. Take a listen.

After the big message, it’s time to focus on the new client’s business. Stage Three brings visitors to a room full of suspended flat screen displays, each playing a video tailored to the guest’s business field. For this stage, IdeaMan produced nine videos covering HP Enterprise Service’s capabilities in specific fields including communications, military, medical, and financial services.
